About Literary Den

Literary Den stands on a simple feeling-love of literature. Reading and writing, when pursued in a creative dimension, encompass a wholesome experience of personal reality. It has its own beat, unending and unfailing. Time is usually seen as the foe of physical beauty but when it comes to the world of ideas and characters, time is the most loving friend one can ever have. Years add gold to your understanding. One day this gold might sparkle in your name on a book that represents your heart, your inner voice.    

A twelve-year-old boy had a problem: he did not join others in play but wrote on a piece of paper the images of his mind. This was me. My hobby of reading had already won me the title of crazy boy in my school days. I spent the whole day long reading fiction stories. And then almost compulsively, I started to write whatever occurred to my charmed imagination. Writing became my friend, my activity, and ultimately my self. After eighteen years of my first experience of creative writing, I look back at the lonesome boy always seeking an isolated corner to play with his imagination. I remember my rooted madness. And I realize that it is the only sanity I have ever known.        

Quoting Thomas Paine 'My country is the world and my religion is to do good.' In a time of negative freedom, nationalism and mythic obssession are ravaging the human spirit. I want to be a tiny particle that can fly against the gravitation of authority.
